DEC 2025 - AGU25: Pitt is Where Science Connects Us

From December 15 - 20, 19 of our incredible faculty, graduate, and undergraduate students are presenting at the 2025 American Geophysical Union (AGU) Fall Meeting in New Orleans —the world’s largest gathering of Earth and space scientists! The theme of this year’s conference, “Where Science Connects Us,” highlights the celebration of all the ways we connect to continue to adapt and grow.

Here’s why the AGU Fall Meeting is such a major event:

  • Global Collaboration: Over 25,000 attendees from more than 100 countries come together, including scientists, educators, policymakers, and emerging leaders.
  • Cutting-Edge Science: Presenters share groundbreaking findings in Earth and space sciences.
  • Collaboration: A hub for networking and professional development, fostering new ideas and partnerships.
  • Career Advancement: Access mentoring programs, career fairs, and funding opportunities.

We are so proud to see the University of Pittsburgh represented on this global stage! To all our presenters: thank you for showcasing the impactful work happening here at the Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences.
