Campus Sustainability Tour
Tuesday, August 25 and/or Thursday, September 3, 12:30 p.m. - 1:30 p.m.
Benedum Hall Suite 153
Did you know that over 4,400 solar panels sit atop buildings on Pitt's campus? Or that 19 of Pitt's buildings are LEED-certified? How about that the University of Pittsburgh is a certified Bee Campus, Tree Campus and gold-rated Bike Friendly University?
Join Pitt's Office of Sustainability for a tour of campus highlighting the projects, programs, places, and people helping Pitt achieve all 61 goals in the Pitt Sustainability Plan.
Tours begin outside of the Office of Sustainability in Benedum Hall Suite 153 and follows an approximately 1-mile outdoor loop through lower Oakland. Comfortable walking shoes, a refillable water bottle, and weather-appropriate gear are recommended.

Wild Connections: One Health, Planetary Health, and Sustainability
Wednesday, September 9, 3:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.
University Club, Ballroom & Terrace
Join the Mascaro Center for Sustainable Innovation, the Office of Sustainability in the Health Sciences, and the School of Public Health for a keynote conversation with author Andrew Moore and a panel discussion exploring the connections between One Health, Planetary Health, and Sustainability.
