Research Interests

I study tectonic deformation of Earth's continents with specific interests in how subduction dynamics and lithosphere-scale processes influence cordilleran orogens.  I pursue this research using geologic mapping, structural studies, low-temperature thermochronometry, and detrital geochronology.  Current projects are focused on the Central Andes and western US.
